I'm thrilled to share a pivotal moment in my artistic journey – the transition from makeshift home studio to a dedicated creative space. After the chaos of juggling art supplies amidst the rush of daily life, I've transformed our old hot tub room into a small art studio, where I can work on my artistic creations free from the distractions of home life.
I’m sure my lovely wife, Janette, will agree that for too long, my artistic endeavours have clashed with the practicalities of living space. My easel stood as a constant obstacle in the corner, while the constant battle to keep materials away from curious pets felt like a never-ending chore.
If you are still looking for that one person who will change your life, take a look in the mirror.
But with determination and a bit of help (not to mention elbow grease – that hot tub wasn’t light!), I’ve claimed this space, and turned it into a haven where creativity can thrive. Of course, an added bonus is that the hot tub is only a few feet away outside on the patio!
As I settle into my new studio, I invite you to join me in celebrating this milestone. Together, let's embrace the beauty of change and the endless possibilities it brings to my art.
